Before every drawing, active table games players can purchase digital entries and help build a progressive prize pool. Then, when the clock hits the half-hour, one eligible table and seat will be selected to win the entire prize pool in live table chips.

- Purchase digital entries during the four-minute entry period before a drawing.

HotSeat Lotto Drawings are a Friday and Saturday night table games promotion at Viejas Casino & Resort. Active players at participating table games can purchase digital entries for a chance to win a progressive prize pool paid in live table chips.
2. When are HotSeat Lotto Drawings held?
HotSeat Lotto Drawings are held every Friday and Saturday from September 11 through December 26, 2026. Drawings take place hourly at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm, 10:30pm, and 11:30pm.
3. Where can I participate in HotSeat Lotto at Viejas?
The promotion is available at participating open table games on the Main Casino floor. Table games in the High Limit room are excluded.
4. How do I enter a HotSeat Lotto Drawing?
You must be actively playing at a participating table game when the entry period opens. During the four-minute entry window, you may purchase digital entries for that drawing through the promotion system at your table.
5. How much do HotSeat Lotto entries cost?
Entry purchase options are $5, $10, $25, $50, or $100 per active position for each drawing. Every $5 purchases five digital entries.
6. When can I buy entries?
The entry period begins five minutes before each drawing, at 25 minutes past the hour. Players have four minutes to purchase entries before the one-minute drawing countdown begins.
7. How big is the HotSeat Lotto prize?
Each drawing begins with a $25 seed from Viejas. In addition, 80% of all entry purchases for that drawing are added to the prize pool, allowing the total to grow as more players participate.
8. How is the HotSeat Lotto winner selected?
After the entry period ends, a one-minute countdown begins. When the countdown reaches zero, the HotSeat Lotto system randomly selects an eligible participating table and seat, weighted by the amount wagered through entries.
9. Do I need to stay at the table after purchasing entries?
Yes. To remain eligible, you must continue actively playing at the qualifying table position until the HotSeat drawing is complete. If you stop playing or leave the table, your entry purchase may be cancelled and returned at Management’s discretion.
10. How is the HotSeat Lotto prize paid?
The winning player receives the prize pool in live table chips after the payout is verified according to casino procedures.
11. Do I need identification to win?
Yes. Players must have valid government-issued identification in their possession at the time of the drawing to be eligible for a prize that requires tax documentation.
12. Can Promotional or Non-Negotiable Chips be used to buy HotSeat Lotto entries?
No. Promotional Chips and Non-Negotiable Chips cannot be used to purchase entries.
